World class state-of-the-art modern
computerised plant installed at Sunstar by internationally
acclaimed Buhler has automatically controlled inflow
and outflow system.
There are three milling plants installed at Sunstar
having more than 14 tons per hour capacity, which
is one of the largest installed capacities. These
plants are equipped with most modern Pre-cleaners,
De-stoners, Precision-sizers, Graders, Paddy Separators,
Dehuskers, etc. Pre-cleaners and Magnets are used
at various stages to ward off foreign material.
The company pays careful attention to ensure that
each grain is perfect and each process is carried
out under the
eagle
eyes of a competent and trained
manpower. No effort is spared to ensure that the
rice that leaves the company premises is of best
quality and fully protected against possible hazards
during its journey before it reaches the buyer.

The systematic examination, checking
and re-checking of paddy and rice to determine the
end product's fool-proof quality is the hallmark
of Sunstar.
With a battery of hi-tech and top-of-the-line equipment
like Lab Kett Meters, Lab De-huskers, Electronic
Vernier Calipers,
Precision Electronic Weighing Scales,
Paddy Separator, Lab-polishers,
having a strong back-up of qualified technical team
of proven ment, nothing is left to change at Sunstar
for establishing top quality of paddy before it
is put on the processing line.
Sunstar has an obsession with quality that invariably
arrives as a result of unfailing and gruelling process
of tests, at different stages of milling and packaging
with a zero-error precision. The whole process has
total traceability in the event of non-conformity
thereby leaving no scope for any compromise with
quality.
At Sunstar we have inhouse microbiological analysis
and pesticide residue analysis lab. These two labs
are very well equipped with GLC Machines, Microscopes
etc.
The series of colour sorters and multi sorters are
installed at Sunstar. When the rice is passed through
these series of sorting machines it gets free from
glasses, plastic granules, foreign material, dust
materials, damaged rice, discoloured and unwanted
grain. |
